No major upsets in the quarter finals of the F.A Cup! Villa came back from 2 - 0 down to win 4 - 2 at Reading with a John Carew hat trick. Chelsea easily beat Stoke City 2 - 0 with goals from Lampard and Terry, Portsmouth who are in administration and staring relegation in the face showed such spirit and positive attitude to beat Birmingham 2 - 0 and Fulham and Spurs drew 0 - 0.

The Premiership games saw Man United beat Wolves 1 - 0 in a game where battling Wolves deserved a draw, Bolton won 2 - 1 away at West Ham to give themselves back-to-back wins with Kevin Davies in great form and Everton grabbed their biggest win of the season beating a poor Hull side 5 - 1.

No top of the table clashes this week , Spurs take on Blackburn in a game they must fancy themselves in. Bolton who are coming into form welcome Wigan to the Reebok stadium. Birmingham and Everton who are 8th and 9th and still have hopes of Europe play at St Andrews in a must win game for both teams. Wolves play at Burnley. Then 3 of the top teams have tricky away ties with Villa away at Stoke , Arsenal are at Hull and Man City at Sunderland.
