Our Goal CIC

Getting Girls Moving

Schools
The Our Goal initiative has been a truly transformative force in our school's physical education programme. Before its introduction, we observed a noticeable drop-off in participation and enthusiasm among some of our female students. Many felt self-conscious or uninterested in traditional competitive sports. By offering a diverse, inclusive, and non-judgmental range of activities, it successfully re-engaged these students. We highly recommend 'Our Goal' to any school looking to foster a positive, lifelong relationship with physical activity for their girls.

Why We Exist

Currently, 43% of girls drop out of sport in their teenage years (Women in Sport, 2022). We want to change that.

We want to achieve a world where every girl has positive, safe, and empowering experiences of physical activity which will improve her life by helping her to be stronger, happier, healthier and more confident.

Too many teenage and pre-teen girls are facing barriers which make it difficult for them to be active. Our programmes, designed with teenage girls, create safe spaces for them to be physically active and then use the power of physical activity to improve their confidence, self-esteem, and mental wellbeing. â€‹
