We have some exciting news to share!! This year, we are welcoming two brand new Move Mentors and one returning mentor to the Our Goal team. We recently held our mentor training, where our new mentors got the chance to find out a little more about what we do at Our Goal and how they will be helping us on our mission to get girls moving. It was a brilliant way to kick things off, and we can’t wait to see Chloe, Ayesha and Kaelyn in action!!

Meet Chloe: a returning Move Mentor

Chloe is back with us for another year!! She is in her final year of studying Physical Education at UA92, where she also spends one day a week on placement at a local high school. Outside of her studies, Chloe plays rugby league. She is loving being part of the team and is very much looking forward to supporting more young girls this year!!

Meet Ayesha: a new Move Mentor

Ayesha is joining us as a new Move Mentor this upcoming year. She is in her second year at UA92 studying Business of Football and outside of university she does boxing. You might remember her from our recent summer camp, where she led a boxing session for the girls and answered all their questions about her experience. When she graduates, Ayesha would love to work within football. Sport has always been a big part of her life, which is exactly why she is so passionate about getting younger girls involved.

Meet Kaelyn: a new Move Mentor

Kaelyn is also joining us as a new Move Mentor, and her passion for what we do is clear from the start. She is extremely passionate about getting girls back into sport without judgement and helping them stay involved, exactly what Our Goal is all about.

Why our mentors matter

Our mentors are at the heart of everything we do. Every session is led by young women who understand where the girls are coming from, who are relatable, inspiring and regularly supported by us. They help create a welcoming, low-pressure space where girls feel comfortable getting involved. Girls are able to turn up to our sessions and see young women around them in leadership and coaching roles, which is exactly what makes Our Goal so special.

A huge welcome to Chloe, Ayesha and Kaelyn!! We are so excited to have you with us this year and can’t wait to see the difference you'll make to the girls you work with.

Make sure you are following us on socials to see our mentors in action and stay up to date with everything we’ve got coming up!!

Thank you,
