We’re very excited to announce our new partnership with University Campus of Football Business (UCFB). This academic year, we’ll be recruiting students from UCFB to help us deliver our mentoring and physical programmes in Wythenshawe.

This work is proudly funded by The Duerr’s Foundation, whose support allows us to expand our reach and impact in the community. By partnering with our second university, we’re now strengthening our ability to connect with more girls, more consistently.

Our programmes are designed to build confidence, boost physical and mental wellbeing, and give girls a positive experience of being physically active. Over the last 12 months, girls attending our sessions have reported the following:

100% enjoyed the programme

95% said the sessions improve their mood

93% were more physically active by the end of the programme

71% felt more confident after taking part in the programme

By teaming up with UCFB, we’ll be able to grow this impact even further— training more mentors, delivering more sessions, and inspiring more girls to feel stronger, happier, healthier, and more confident.

We're excited for what this partnership will bring and can’t wait to welcome the first cohort of UCFB students to our work in Wythenshawe.
